Alizé Suite
Our largest suite turns the corner of the building, so the Atlantic fills two walls and the trade wind moves through all day.
Named for the alizé, the steady wind that keeps Essaouira cool in August, the suite is built around air and light. Two sets of blue shutters open onto the sea, and sheer linen catches every gust.
A king bed faces the water. The bathroom holds a freestanding stone tub under its own window, so a bath here comes with the sound of the surf.
