The Case for the Longer Stay

Beyond about five nights, a hotel stops being somewhere you sleep and becomes somewhere you live. What changes, and why the rate should drop.

The town opens up

On day one Essaouira is the port and the ramparts. By day six you know the baker, the man who sharpens knives, and which café gets the morning sun.

The room becomes yours

Long-stay guests in the Chergui Studio get a kitchenette, a washing machine and housekeeping on the days they choose, rather than every morning.

The rate drops

From seven nights we take 15% off, and from fourteen nights 25%. It is cheaper for us to keep you than to find someone new.
